WWA Commissioner Bret “The Hitman” Hart comes down to the ring and says that it took him 23 years to get here and they’re going to have fun tonight, and he wants to say a few things as he wants to apologize that he didn’t know what he missed coming to Australia. He says that he saved the best for last and it was one year ago today that he was fired by WCW as well as when he promised to take a full year off, and he says that it’s been fun being away from wrestling though he is happy to be back and a part of WWA. He says that he came here to do some promotional work including the Rove Show before going to his hotel and was stuck in the country on 9/11, and he says that it was a tough time for everyone though it meant a lot to him to find kindness from the citizens of the country. He says that he’s not going to be a token Commissioner and will have a lot to do with the matches tonight, and he says whoever becomes champion tonight will have to work hard for it and he recalls being in the WWF as the World Champion. He says that not one wrestler in the company ever beat him and then he went to WCW where he was World Champion and was never beaten, and he says that he looks at Goldberg, the Rock, Steve Austin, Chris Benoit, and even Vince McMahon and not one of them has anything over him. He says that whoever becomes the WWA Champion will be taking his belt and he will gladly pass the torch tonight, and he says that it’s nice to be part of a company with integrity and it’s time to let the matches start as the fun is about to begin and the fans deserve the best there is, was, and ever will be.
1. Juventud Guerrera defeats Psicosis in a Ladder match at 8:11 to win the vacant WWA International Cruiserweight Championship.
Note: This is a quarterfinal match in the Seven Deadly Sins tournament.
The Buildup/Title Change/Title Vacancy: On 10/19, Guerrera defeated Psicosis to become the inaugural International Cruiserweight Champion though the title would be declared vacant on 10/23, and this match was announced for the title as well as being a match in the tournament.
Analysis: We kick off the inaugural WWA PPV with our first title match of the night. Guerrera had defeated Psicosis a week ago to win the Cruiserweight Title though it would be vacated shortly after, and now they face off again here in a ladder match to determine the true champion. Guerrera gets a good pop from the crowd while Psicosis also gets a decent pop from the crowd. The two men lock up to start with Psicosis backing Guerrera into the corner and he gives a clean break before slapping Guerrera in the face, and he ducks a shot only for Guerrera to pound on Psicosis who ducks a shot and he hits a dropkick to the knee. He kicks at Guerrera who reverses a whip into the corner and Psicosis hits a drop toehold into the buckle, and he pounds on Guerrera and kicks at the knee as Guerrera reverses a whip and Psicosis escapes a tilt-a-whirl. Guerrera ducks a shot and hits a spin kick on Psicosis before hitting a tornado DDT as Psicosis rolls outside to regroup, and Guerrera goes outside and sets a ladder up at ringside as he tips it over onto Psicosis which busts him open. He throws Psicosis back into the ring and props the ladder on the ropes as he slides it into the ring while ramming it into Psicosis’ head, and he goes up to the middle rope and slingshots the ladder in Psicosis’ face as he gets in the ring and props the ladder on the top rope. He stomps on Psicosis repeatedly and Psicosis tries to block a whip as Guerrera pounds on him in the corner and Psicosis flips him off, and Guerrera stomps on him and Psicosis again blocks a whip as Guerrera hits a dropkick to the knee and pounds on him. Both men counter a whip as Guerrera leaps onto Psicosis’ shoulders and hooks a sunset flip that Psicosis rolls through, and Guerrera charges and Psicosis hotshots him on the ladder as he sets it up in the corner and stomps on Guerrera. He hoists Guerrera up for a suplex and drops him on the top rope as he climbs up the ladder and hits a legdrop to the back of Guerrera’s head, and he pulls the ladder to the center of the ring and climbs up as Guerrera goes out to the apron and hits a springboard dropkick which tips the ladder over and Psicosis hotshots himself on the top rope. Guerrera sets the ladder up and climbs though comes back down as he stomps on Psicosis and goes outside, and he grabs a second ladder and tries to slide it into the ring only for Psicosis to dropkick the ladder back in Guerrera’s face. He goes outside and throws Guerrera back into the ring as he grabs the second ladder and slams it down onto Guerrera, and he props the ladder up in the corner only for Guerrera to reverse a whip as he sends Psicosis into the ladder. Guerrera pulls the other ladder to the corner and goes up top as he gets on the bridged ladder and climbs onto the other ladder, and he leaps off the ladder with a dive onto Psicosis that is nearly botched and the ladder falls on top of them and the ref. Psicosis recovers first and sets the ladder up as he climbs while Guerrera climbs the other side and they trade blows, and Guerrera rams Psicosis’ head into the ladder and hits a sunset flip powerbomb off the ladder before going up top. He hits the 450 Splash on Psicosis and sets the ladder up before climbing up as he retrieves the belt and we have a new champion. The match itself was good as both men worked hard and put on a solid title match. Both men looked good despite being out of the mainstream for a year and they still had good chemistry, but it didn’t quite hit the next level to make it a great match as Guerrera reclaims the title he never lost. The crowd was into the match and popped for Guerrera when he won. Guerrera gets the win over Psicosis and is once again Cruiserweight Champion as his night is technically not over yet. Grade: 3
We see the Starettes dancing on the stage.
We see a limo pull into the arena as Rove McManus and Nathan Jones step out of it and they walk past the West Hollywood Blondes in disgust, and the Blondes say that they have no sense for fashion.

2. The Road Dogg defeats Konnan in a Dog Collar match at 3:39.
Note: This is a quarterfinal match in the Seven Deadly Sins tournament.
Analysis: Our next match on the card is our second match in the tournament. Both men were looking to advance in the tournament and they face off here in a Dog Collar match to see who will advance. Dogg gets a good pop from the crowd while Konnan also gets a decent pop from the crowd. Konnan wastes no time and attacks Dogg to start the match as he stomps on him and declares himself the Mexican Heavyweight Champion while the ref puts the collar on Dogg, and Dogg fires up on Konnan who hits him in the face with his belt and he mocks Dogg before stomping on him. He throws Dogg over the top to the floor before sliding outside the ring and he uses the chain to choke Dogg, and he slides back into the ring and pulls Dogg onto the apron as he hits a hiptoss back into the ring and takes the collar off. He hits the rolling clothesline on Dogg and puts the collar back on as he stomps on Dogg and touches three buckles, but Dogg uses the chain to crotch Konnan and he touches two buckles until Konnan chokes Dogg with the chain. He chokes Dogg on the ropes with the chain and hoists him up as he puts him in the tree of woe in the corner, and he hits a dropkick on Dogg and pounds on him in the corner until Dogg hits a low blow and he wraps the chain around his fist as he hits Konnan in the face with it twice. He touches two buckles until Konnan crotches Dogg with the chain and he rams Dogg into the buckle repeatedly, and he pounds on Dogg in the corner until Dogg knocks him down and he touches three buckles only for Konnan to nail him from behind. He takes the collar off again and pulls out a crowbar as he hits Dogg in the face with it and then he leaps over Dogg, and he gets a kick in and hits the facebuster as he pulls out the crowbar again and goes up top though Dogg catches him coming in with a boot to the face. The ref puts the collar back on Konnan as Dogg grabs the crowbar and hits Konnan in the face with it, and he wraps the chain around Konnan’s feet and drags him around the ring as he hits all four buckles and wins the match. The match itself was decent as both men worked hard and put on a basic match. Both men were clearly slowing down by this point though they still did what they could, and they had decent chemistry as Dogg manages to get the win. The crowd was into the match and popped for Dogg when he won. Dogg gets the win over Konnan and advances in the tournament as both men move on. Grade: 1.5
We see the participants in the Skin to Win match warming up backstage.
3. “Screaming” Norman Smiley pins Devon Storm in a Hardcore match at 9:54.
Analysis: Our next match on the card is a non-tournament matchup. These two men were mainstays in the WCW Hardcore Division at the tail end of the company and they face off here to see who is the true king of Hardcore. Smiley gets a good pop from the crowd while Storm gets a mixed reaction from the crowd. Storm gets a kick in and hits a headbutt on Smiley to start the match as he pounds on him until Smiley reverses a whip, and Storm ducks a shot and hits a springboard crossbody for a two count as he hits a clothesline only for Smiley to send him to the outside. He hits a baseball slide that sends Storm into a trash can full of weapons as Storm grabs a trash can lid only for Smiley to kick it back in his face, and Smiley hits Storm in the head with the lid twice and throws the weapons into the ring as he slides back into the ring and Storm gets on the apron. He hotshots Smiley on the top rope and grabs a chair as he slams it down onto Smiley and he hits a slingshot splash onto Smiley, and then he hits a springboard moonsault that drives the chair into Smiley and he grabs a Singapore cane only for Smiley to hit a backdrop. He does a dance only for Storm to hit him in the head with the cane and then he hits him in the back as Smiley rolls outside to regroup, and Storm tosses the chair onto Smiley and looks for suicide dive only for Smiley to toss the chair at Storm’s head. He pulls a table out and sets it up at ringside as he gets in the ring and goes behind Storm as he does the Big Wiggle, and he pounds on Storm and goes out to the apron as Storm blocks a suplex attempt and he hits one of his own that brings Smiley back into the ring. He throws Smiley to the outside and goes out to the apron as Smiley grabs a trash can and Storm hits a dropkick that drives the can into Smiley, and he puts Smiley on the table and pounds on him as he gets in the ring and hits a slingshot splash that puts Smiley through the table. He kicks at Smiley who reverses a whip into the guardrail as we see Storm is busted open and Smiley tosses a can at him, and he grabs another can and hits Storm in the head with it before putting him in the can as he grabs a chair and he hits Storm with it repeatedly. They head up the ramp onto the stage as Smiley again does the Big Wiggle to Storm who hits a low blow, and he pounds on Smiley and hits a superkick only for Smiley to hit an atomic drop and he grabs a Singapore cane as he hits Storm with it repeatedly. Storm heads backstage and Smiley goes after him as Storm tosses a chair at Smiley and pounds on him, and he hits a short clothesline that sends Smiley into a dumpster and he runs him into a set of rolling cases where Disco Inferno happens to be. Inferno walks away in frustration as Storm pounds on Smiley and they head back into the arena where Storm rams Smiley into the guardrail, and Storm puts a section of the guardrail on the stage and hits Smiley with the cane as he hoists him up in a wheelbarrow and hotshots him on the guardrail. He slams the guardrail down on Smiley and heads to the other side of the stage as he puts a pair of tables on the stage while Smiley climbs onto the stage, and Storm grabs a lid and hits Smiley in the head with it as he sets one of the tables up and tosses a chair at Smiley. He stacks the tables on top of each other and kicks at Smiley as he hits a clothesline and stomps on him, and he looks for a powerbomb as Smiley escapes and ducks a shot before hitting the swinging slam onto the can. Storm recovers as he hits a drop toehold that sends Smiley into the can and he pounds on him before hoisting him up and he crotches him on the set, and he hoists Smiley up and puts him on the top table as he tosses a can onto the set and climbs up the set to the video screen. He tosses the can onto Smiley and comes off the set with a splash that puts Smiley through both tables in a big spot, but he collapses in pain with Smiley crawling on top which gets the three and he wins the match. The match itself was pretty good as both men worked hard and put on a fun Hardcore match. Both men were still relatively in their prime and they still had good chemistry as Smiley takes advantage of Storm in essence taking himself out. The crowd was into the match and popped for Smiley when he won. Smiley gets the win over Storm though this issue isn’t over yet. Grade: 3
We see Disco Inferno run into the stagehand backstage who is standing next to two men in banana suits as Inferno asks who they are and the stagehand says they’re the two fruits he asked for, and Inferno yells that he wanted two suits and if anyone in this country speaks English as he shoves them aside and walks away.
Stevie Ray interviews Bret Hart, who says that everyone is busting their ass and he wants to take it to a different level, and he says anyone who works for WWA can enter the battle royal if they want.

Note: This is a quarterfinal match in the Seven Deadly Sins tournament.
Analysis: Our next match on the card is a very unique battle royal. Serving as the last way for someone to get involved in the tournament, it is now open to anyone who wants to compete and try to advance. Bagwell starts off the match as he gets a good pop from the crowd while Inferno comes out second to solid heat from the crowd. He kicks at Bagwell and pounds on him to start the match as he stomps on him repeatedly and Bagwell reverses a whip, and he hits a back elbow as Ray comes down to the ring and Bagwell hits a pair of clotheslines on Inferno. He pounds on Inferno in the corner until Ray pounds on both men and hits a double clothesline while Storm and Smiley brawl their way down to the ring, and Ray pounds on both men and stomps Smiley to the outside as he pounds on Storm until Inferno pounds on him. Smiley rolls back into the ring as Ray rakes Inferno’s eyes and all five men pound on each other as Lawler and Borash leave the table and get in the ring as well, and Lawler kicks at Ray and pounds on him while Bagwell pounds on Storm in the corner and Lawler holds Ray from behind. Borash pounds on Ray who no-sells his shots and he hoists Borash up before dumping him over the top and eliminating him, and the two refs then get in the ring as does a cameraman while Inferno throws Storm over the top and eliminates him. Storm takes a seat at the announce table and takes over commentary as referee Johnson leaps onto Inferno’s shoulders and pounds on him, but Inferno rams him into the other ref in the corner as a random woman gets in the ring and Lawler tells her to leave as the cameraman gets eliminated. She then jumps on his back and chokes him as he tosses her to the mat and lays on top of her until she escapes, and she climbs over the top and eliminates herself as Bagwell nails Lawler from behind and Inferno eliminates the other ref. Smiley and Inferno throw Johnson over the top and eliminate him as everyone comes together to target Ray, but only Inferno charges at him and Ray knocks him down as Inferno confronts everyone else as they decide to try again though only Smiley and Inferno charge. He rams Inferno into the buckle and Inferno ducks a shot as he gets a kick in and hits a swinging neckbreaker, and he does a “Village People’s” elbow on Bagwell as the bananas get in the ring and they eliminate Inferno only for Bagwell to hit a double clothesline and eliminate both bananas as Bagwell wins the match. The match itself was nothing much as it was pretty chaotic and really just a bit of a mess with random people just showing up. The crowd was in and out of it for the match though they did pop for Bagwell when he won. Bagwell wins the battle royal and his night isn’t over as he advances in the tournament. Grade: .5
Rove McManus and Nathan Jones say they are not afraid of Jeff Jarrett as they’ve seen his work and he’s claiming to lay the Stroke on someone though it will be him in the hotel room.
5. Jeff Jarrett pins “Front Row” Nathan Jones (w/ Rove McManus) with the Stroke at 4:07.
Stipulation: The guitar would be on a pole and whoever retrieved it could use it
Note: This is a quarterfinal match in the Seven Deadly Sins tournament.
Analysis: Our next match on the card is our last quarterfinal matchup. Jarrett was looking to get another chance at the WWA Title and looks to advance here against Jones, who was a fresh face on the scene and looks to get a big upset win here. Jones gets a big pop from his home country while Jarrett was pretty hot as a heel. The two men square off to start the match as Jarrett rakes the eyes and pounds on Jones who tosses him into the corner, and Jarrett avoids a charge and pounds on Jones in the corner as he whips him into the other corner and catches a boot attempt. He continues to pound on him as Jones reverses a whip into the other corner and Jarrett catches him with a boot to the face, but Jones catches him in a tilt-a-whirl powerslam and he hits a big boot on Jarrett who catches him with a jawbreaker. He kicks at Jones’ knee and chokes him on the ropes as he slams down on his back and goes up to the middle rope, but Jones catches him coming in by grabbing him by the throat only for Jarrett to kick at his knee repeatedly though Jones hits a sidewalk slam. He hits a clothesline that sends both men over the top to the floor and Jones pounds on him as he rams him into the apron, and he continues to pound on Jarrett and rams him into the announce table as he kicks at him and presses him up before tossing him back into the ring. He goes up top and hits a flying clothesline on Jarrett as he goes up top for the guitar only for Jarrett to hit a low blow, and Jones crotches himself on the top rope and Jarrett goes up top as he retrieves the guitar and he tells Jones to get up. Just then, McManus gets in the ring and comes up behind Jarrett only for Jarrett to break the guitar over his head, and Jarrett jabs the broken guitar into Jones’ throat and hits the Stroke which gets the three and he wins the match. The match itself was nothing much as both men worked hard for the 4 minutes they got and put on a basic match. Jones looked decent in his debut while Jarrett was still pretty good by this point, and they had decent chemistry though it was weird they jobbed Jones out in his home country. The crowd was into the match and Jones, but are not happy when Jarrett wins. Jarrett gets the win over Jones and advances in the tournament as both men move on. Grade: 1
We see the Starettes dancing on the stage.
It’s time for a special edition of the King’s Court as Jerry Lawler says he wanted to take this time to get to the bottom of a problem that’s been going on, and he says that Disco Inferno asked for security and was given two fruits as he wants the fruits to come down to the ring and the two bananas come down to the ring. Lawler says they don’t realize what they’ve done as Inferno wanted security and they were hired to do that, but they cost him a chance at the WWA Championship and Inferno will peel them and eat them for lunch. Just then, the West Hollywood Blondes come down to the ring as Lodi says that no one wants to see two fruits in the ring, and he says that everyone wants to see them and Lawler says that the fans are calling them “wankers” as Lane says that they are the two toughest men in Australia. Lawler says that they would like to be behind a tough man as Bret Hart comes out on the stage and tells the bananas to get out of the ring, and he says that Juventud Guerrera can’t compete tonight as he tells Lawler to go back to the announce table and that Road Dogg will face the Blondes in a Three Way Dance to see who will advance.

He gets a kick in and Lane escapes a slam attempt as he gets a kick in and leaps up top before hitting a moonsault on Lodi, and Dogg drops a knee on both men which gets the three on both men and he wins the match. The match itself was nothing much as all three men did what they could in what was basically a handicap match. Dogg looked good in his second match while the Blondes did what they could before falling apart at the end, and they had decent chemistry as Dogg gets the win to advance. The crowd was into the match and popped for Dogg when he won. Dogg gets the win over Lane and Lodi and advances to the finals as all three men move on. Grade: 1

Wad catches her on a leap and hits a pair of backbreakers until James hits a dropkick that puts Bea on top of Wad, and Wad charges at James who catches her with a boot to the face as she goes up to the middle rope and hits a tornado DDT. Wad’s wig falls off as Bea and Terossi whip Wad into the corner and James splashes Wad while Bea and Terossi tie Wad up in the corner, and all three women hit Shattered Dreams on Wad who is revealed to be Danny Dominion as the women go for his dress though he shoves them away. He nips up as James attempts a hurricanrana only for Dominion to hit a sitdown powerbomb as he grabs Bea and Terossi before hitting stereo Stunners, and he unties Bea and Terossi’s tops and shows them off to the crowd before sending them to the outside as both are eliminated. He chokes James in the corner and whips her into the other corner as he stomps on her and whips her back into the other corner, but he misses a charge as James gets a kick in and pounds on Dominion before stomping on him repeatedly in the corner. He reverses a whip into the other corner and catches her on a leap as she hits a headscissors and pounds on him in the corner, but he rakes the eyes and knocks her down as he gets a kick in and looks for a powerbomb though she escapes with a sunset flip. He ducks a shot and she escapes a back suplex attempt as she hits a Russian legsweep and goes for the dress though he gets a shot in, and she catches him with a headscissors and pounds on him though he catches her ducking by slamming her head into the mat. Just then, Stevie Ray comes down to the ring and yells about Dominion being in the match as he blocks a shot and pounds on Dominion, and James goes up top and hits a hurricanrana on Dominion as she trips him up and pulls the dress off to win the match. The match itself was nothing as it was basically a comedy match with a man dressed in drag against a trained woman and two outsiders. The crowd was into the match and popped for James when she won. James gets the win over Bea, Terossi, and Dominion as everyone moves on. Grade: .5
We see the steel cage being lowered around the ring.
Andrew McManus comes down to ringside and has Jeremy Borash read a letter from Midajah which says that she is bringing her man to the next show.
The Starettes perform a dance on the stage until Disco Inferno interrupts it and says he’s tired of seeing them as he tells them to get lost, and he comes down to the ring and says that everyone saw what happened in the battle royal as he should be in the main event. He says that he got screwed by two stupid fruits and he’s not leaving this country without taking care of unfinished business, and he says that he wants the fruits to come out and pay the piper for screwing him as the two bananas come down to the ring. Inferno gets out of the cage and goes after them only for one of the bananas to whip Inferno into the cage twice, and he slams the door into Inferno who crawls back into the cage and one of the bananas also gets into the cage. Inferno tries to climb out of the cage as the banana goes after him and they trade blows at the top of the cage, and then Inferno sends the banana off the cage through a table at ringside and climbs back down as he says that’s the way he likes it before heading to the back.
Bret Hart comes down to join commentary for the main event.
10. Jeff Jarrett pins the Road Dogg with the Stroke in a Steel Cage match at 10:26 to win the vacant WWA World Heavyweight Championship.
Note: This is the finals of the Seven Deadly Sins tournament for the vacant title.
The Buildup/Title Change/Title Vacancy: On 10/23, Dogg would defeat Jarrett to become the inaugural champion though earlier tonight, Commissioner Bret Hart would declare the title vacant and announced the tournament to crown a new champion.
Analysis: After a long and interesting night of wrestling, we come to our main event. These two men have worked hard to get to this point and now they face off here in the cage to determine the true champion. Dogg gets a good pop from the crowd while Jarrett was pretty hot as a heel. Dogg wastes no time and attacks Jarrett to start the match as he pounds on him in the corner and whips him into the other corner, but Jarrett catches him with a boot to the face and stomps on Dogg repeatedly as he rams him into the buckle and pounds on him in the corner. He hooks a headlock and Dogg whips him off as he knocks him down and whips him into the corner as he avoids a leap and knocks Jarrett down again, and Jarrett slides under Dogg who pounds on him and knocks him down before dropping a knee on him for a two count. Jarrett reverses a whip and Dogg ducks a shot only for Jarrett to send him into the cage and then he rams Dogg face first into the cage twice, and he does his strut only for Dogg to reverse a whip as he sends Jarrett into the cage and he knocks Jarrett down. He rams Jarrett into the cage twice and Jarrett tries to climb up with Dogg following him and they reach the top of the cage, and Dogg kicks at Jarrett who rakes the eyes and they trade blows with Jarrett climbing down to the floor and Dogg does the same. Jarrett grabs the bell only for Dogg to get a kick in and he grabs the bell as he rams Jarrett into the steps, and he hits Jarrett in the head with the bell which busts him open and he rams Jarrett into the guardrail as he pounds on him and grinds a water bottle into Jarrett’s face. He brings Jarrett back into the cage and pounds on him as Jarrett reverses a whip and hooks a sleeper on Dogg, and Dogg fights to his feet and escapes the hold as he whips Jarrett off and he hooks a sleeper of his own on. Jarrett escapes with a back suplex for a two count and Dogg starts to fire up as Jarrett ducks a shot only for Dogg to hit a big boot, and Jarrett reverses a whip and avoids a flying forearm from Dogg who hits the ref by mistake as Jarrett gets out of the cage. He grabs the guitar and brings it into the cage as he breaks it over Dogg’s head and then he hooks the Sharpshooter on, and he calls for the bell though Hart keeps the timekeeper from doing it as a second ref runs down into the cage. Dogg gets a kick in and looks for the pump handle slam though Jarrett escapes while taking the second ref out, and Dogg hits a low blow on Jarrett and hooks a Sharpshooter of his own on as Jarrett taps out though the refs are still down. Hart heads to the back with the belt until Dogg gets out of the cage and takes it from him as he brings it into the cage, and Jarrett avoids a shot and gets a kick in as he hits the Stroke on the belt which gets the three and we have a new champion. The match itself was solid as both men worked hard and put on a decent cage match. Both men still looked good in their third match and did have good chemistry though the constant references to Montreal did get a bit tiring, and Hart did act a bit weird in the match which leads to Jarrett getting the win. The crowd was into the match and Dogg, but are not happy when Jarrett wins. Jarrett gets the win over Dogg and is the new WWA Champion as this issue isn’t over yet. Grade: 2.5
After the match, Jarrett celebrates with the belt as Hart gets in the ring and confronts Jarrett before walking away as Jarrett looks to hit him with the belt, but Hart turns around and Jarrett drops to his knees as he begs off until Hart grabs him by the legs and hooks the Sharpshooter on. Hart releases the hold and exits the cage as Dogg taunts Jarrett who is lying unconscious and we go off the air.
Final Analysis: Overall, the inaugural PPV for this new promotion was a pretty bland show that felt very reminiscent of WCW PPVs prior to their closure. With the WWF being the only game in town, it was a good time for a new promotion to try and make a name for themselves especially since it was a good chance for guys who were in essence nomads to get back in the thick of things. Jarrett is now the man while Guerrera is the other new champion and Dogg, Smiley, Bagwell, Warrior, and James get big wins, and in terms of the matches the ladder match and Hardcore match were the best while the rest ranged from good to slightly poor as there were way too many gimmick matches. As mentioned, this was a good chance for a new promotion to come around and since it was the first one, WWA does get a bit of a pass though they will need to find their way if they look to continue growing. As for this show, it is not the best show and not a good start for this new promotion. Final Grade: D+

Great writeup! It seems like every reviled unwanted wrestler did this show, which is why it probably did poorly.

Good review, Steve... what a weird show and promotion... picking up the WCW scraps, a precursor to TNA in many ways.
