Eric Bischoff comes down to the ring and says that Stephanie needs to learn as when she stole Brock Lesnar last week, he vowed to knock her down and she will find out that when he knocks you out, you don’t get up as he brings out RAW’s newest Superstars, the WWE Tag Team Champions Lance Storm and Christian along with Test who is carrying the American flag upside down. Storm thanks Bischoff for letting them speak as they have a message for America as the flag upside down is usually a symbol of distress, and he says that for them it means the upside down beliefs and values of American society. He says that Americans worship celebrities like Elvis Presley, a fat drug addict who died on a toilet and Marilyn Monroe, a depressed actress who died on sleeping pills, and Babe Ruth, an alcoholic who slept with prostitutes, and he says that John Wayne became a prostitute when his family sold his image to be in commercials after his death. He says that it’s disgraceful and Christian says that everyone knows the heart of America is as cold as Ted Williams’ corpse, and he says that everyone is cold and ignorant as he asks how the average teen can list every Britney Spears song but not the Bill of Rights. He says that American children are eating Big Macs and looking up porn sites as everyone has the nerve to wonder why the world hates their guts, and Storm says there is one man who is what America is all about which is Eric Bischoff as he took advantages and made something of himself. Just then, Shawn Michaels comes out on the stage and says that he will get to the point as he wants Triple H, and he says that he doesn’t know if Triple H is here tonight but he will exercise his right as an American citizen to beat Triple H from one side of the ring to the other. Bischoff says he will talk to Triple H when he arrives and Test says Michaels needs to take the hint and get off the stage, and Michaels says that they might still be upset that he smacked around their hero in Bret Hart, he says that he suggests that they learn to live with it. He says that either Bischoff brings Triple H to him or he will find him instead and drag him to Bischoff, and he heads to the back as Storm says that Michaels is another selfish American though he will be put in his place. He says that they didn’t come to RAW to be spectators and they vow to make an impact tonight which will strike a blow for freedom and justice, and he says that this impact will be distinctly Un-American.

He says that Bischoff should snap his fingers now and let’s see what happens as Christopher Nowinski comes down to the ring, and he says that Taker is a bully trying to intimidate Bischoff like he did to him last week and Bischof is in charge. He says that he wants Bischoff to make Taker apologize for what he did last week as it’s not his fault Taker doesn’t have a college degree, and Bischoff says he’ll do one better and he’ll let Nowinski get his aggression out right now in a match against Taker. Nowinski says that Bischoff can’t do that and no one tells Taker what to do as he doesn’t have to fight if he doesn’t want to, and Taker says that Nowinski is right as he won’t fight him because Bischoff said he has to though he will do it because he likes to fight as he gets a shot in on Nowinski.
5. The Undertaker pins Christopher Nowinski with the Last Ride at 1:40.

He says that it was his idea for Michaels to be his manager and he would be unstoppable with Michaels by his side, and he says that Michaels couldn’t lower himself to being a manager and couldn’t let go of the spotlight so he could shine. He says that Michaels must face facts in that the Game has passed Michaels by and he is the Showstopper and the Icon, and he says that Michaels’ in-ring career is over and Michaels’ back is busted up as well as his mind. He knows Michaels can’t stand in the ring and be his equal as last week was a slap in the face of reality for Michaels, and he says the reality is that Michaels’ time is through and he knows it to be true as all Michaels has left is his pride. He says that all that pride can do is get Michaels hurt and he’s not going anywhere so Michaels can either listen to that pride and come down to the ring to try and fight him, and he says that he will offer this one more time as Michaels can put his pride aside and accept his role as his manager. After the match, Rock offers a handshake which Flair accepts and they embrace as Flair raises Rock’s hand and Rock heads to the back, and Flair takes the mike and says that he has a very important announcement to make only for Chris Jericho’s music to play and his pyro goes off. Just then, Jericho comes out of the crowd and brings a chair into the ring as he hits Flair in the head with it, and Jericho takes the mike and says that the only thing that matters is that RAW is Jericho as we go off the air.
Final Analysis: Overall, this edition of RAW was a pretty decent episode as we close out what has been quite the month for the company. The year has saw many changes from the brand split to newcomers coming in and big returns, and the open roster has led to a few jumps from Smackdown to RAW and vice versa across the last week. We did have two title matches as Benoit now rules the midcard and Dreamer rules the Hardcore Division while Booker, Bubba, Stratus, Jeff, Taker, and Rock get big wins, and the matches were pretty standard as the big news was the Un-Americans and Jericho jumping to RAW. 2002 has been an interesting year to this point and as we continue the build to Summerslam, we will see how things continue to play and if more jumps happen. As for this show, it is a pretty decent show to close out what was quite a chaotic month. Final Grade: C+
