Vince McMahon comes down to the ring and says that tonight, Chris Jericho and the Rock will face off for the WCW Title and he’s expecting them to beat the hell out of each other, and he says that he’s fine with that as long as after the match, they settle their personal differences and can concentrate as partners along with Team WWF. He says that he’s here to make a major announcement which will make WWF history as his children had their own big announcement a week ago, and he says that they said someone from the WWF would defect and Kurt Angle showed his true colors which weren’t red, white, and blue. He says that Angle’s defection was catastrophic and wounded the WWF which won’t be easy to overcome, and he says that he’s not here to wound the Alliance but rather to be the death nail of the Alliance as everyone will watch the Alliance completely crumble. He says that his announcement is that someone from the Alliance is coming to the WWF and it’s not just someone, it’s someone from Team Alliance which narrows it down to 5 people and he says that person will join the WWF at Survivor Series in the main event. He says that person will make WWF history and he’s been sworn to secrecy on this though he wants to let the cat out of the bag, and he says that perhaps he shouldn’t though he has to be him as he can say anything and do anything he wants. He says that he’s make a deal with the devil if it mean the survival of the WWF because the person joining the WWF at Survivor Series is Steve Austin, and he says that most will be shocked though he has to be him and he shouldn’t have said it as Steve Austin comes down to the ring. He tells Vince to shut up and that he has a big mouth as he was listening and believed Vince was not saying anything important, but then he mentioned his name and he asks who the hell Vince is as he says that he is leading the Alliance. He says that Vince claims he is going to turn on the Alliance and coming back to the WWF which will make history, and he says that Vince is talking a lot of trash though the most important thing he said was that Vince can do anything and say anything he wants. He says that Vince said he has to be him while he has to be Steve Austin as he gets a kick in and hits the Stunner on Vince, and he heads to the back as Vince has a smile on his face.

He grabs at Lita as Matt Hardy runs down to the ring and pulls Storm off the apron though Lita gets hotshotted on the top rope, and Ivory gets a kick in and hits the facebuster on Lits which gets the three and she wins the match. The match itself was decent as both women worked hard and put on a basic match. We see Steve Austin and Debra in their dressing room as Austin says he can’t believe how the Alliance members were looking at him, and he says that they think he’s going to turn on them though if it wasn’t for him, they wouldn’t have a job as Shane McMahon comes in. Austin says that everyone looked at him like they don’t trust him and he says that Shane is looking at him the same way, and Shane says that Vince is a liar and he doesn’t think Austin is jumping though Vince does have a shred of truth in his words as he believes someone will jump ship and he thinks he knows who it is. Just then, Kurt Angle comes in and asks why they are looking at him weird as he says he doesn’t believe Austin would jump ship, and he says that he wanted to ask for a favor as he wants Austin’s help in his match with the Undertaker tonight and Austin says he gave Angle his gold medals back as well as a hat which he is not wearing. 2. Perry Saturn pins Tommy Dreamer at 4:41.
3. Scotty 2 Hotty and Albert defeat Raven and Hugh Morrus at 5:13.
4. Jeff Hardy pins Chavo Guerrero Jr. at 2:46.
Final Analysis: Overall, this edition of RAW was a pretty solid episode that featured a few big title changes and continued the build to Survivor Series. With only a few weeks left in this invasion, both brands were looking to gain as much momentum as they could and we saw that play out on this show. Rock is once again the man while Test now rules the midcard along with Christian and Angle while Ivory, Taker, the APA, and Jacqueline get big wins, and in terms of the matches the main event was easily the best while the big story was Vince teasing that Austin would turn on the Alliance. 2001 has been a great year for the WWF to this point and most of it has had the invasion as the main focus, and we will see if the angle can end on a high note at Survivor Series. As for this show, it is a solid show that has a few big moments on it to continue the build to Survivor Series. Final Grade: B
