The RAW roster are on the apron as Vince McMahon comes down to the ring and says that many of the Superstars have asked him a question that he will answer, and he says that every one of them know that he is an unqualified success and many of them have asked him what his secret is. He says that he will share that secret with all of them as the one quality he has that makes him so successful is ruthless aggression, and he says that he took on every promoter in the country and kicked their asses because of ruthless aggression. He says that he took on the United States government in a court of law and kick their ass as he also took on WCW and kicked their asses before buying them out, and he says that he wants to know tonight as he looks at everyone standing on the apron which of them has that quality and who has the most ruthless aggression. He asks who has it to reach for the stars like never before and who can excel beyond their wildest dreams, and he asks who can make the necessary sacrifices of mind, body, and soul in order to be a success in this company. He says that they will find out tonight and there is one person who isn’t here that clearly has it which is Brock Lesnar, and he says that Lesnar didn’t care how he won King of the Ring and he won because of ruthless aggression. He asks Rob Van Dam if that bothers him which it should and Bubba Ray Dudley wanted to make a name for himself, and he says Ric Flair was victorious because of Bubba and we will see what he has as he will face Eddie Guerrero tonight. He turns his attention to Jeff Hardy and says he won’t buzz anymore as he will face the Undertaker tonight, and he says that Matt Hardy will be barred from ringside and all he wants to know is who wants it the most and who wants to become a Superstar because if they don’t want it, he doesn’t want them. Just then, the New World Order come out on the stage and Shawn Michaels says that he apologizes for their tardiness and that ruthless aggression applies the most to them, and he says that if they’re being honest, Vince has no bigger or better Superstars than them and they would like to offer their services to him to take out the trash. Kevin Nash says if anyone has a problem with it, they should headline several WrestleManias before giving them a shout as Booker T says that he can give Vince a headline in that the nWo has to go, and then Goldust says that the nWo thinks their tight though no one is tighter than him and Booker as they are homies and practically married. Booker says that if they want some tonight, they can have it as he and Goldust will face the nWo tonight and Vince says that it won’t be Booker and Michaels tonight as Michaels is an icon and has ruthless aggression. He says that Michaels earned his bones and Booker won’t face Nash either though it might be soon once Nash heals up and if he doesn’t live up to expectations, he will join his buddy Scott Hall on the unemployment line and Vince says if they want to get it out of them, they need to reach up and take it. Booker says that he will take it and the nWo will get their asses kicked by him and Goldust as Vince says it will be a tag match, and he says that X-Pac and the Big Show will face Booker and Goldust as Nash and Michaels will be barred from ringside and Booker says he can dig that as he does the Spinaroonie.

We see Vince McMahon with Sgt. Slaughter as he says that there are some people that don’t belong and he wants to get rid of them, and he brings up Tommy Dreamer and Raven as they used to be stars in ECW and they should go at it tonight with one of them never appearing on RAW again. Slaughter walks off as Vince goes into his office where Jackie Gayda is there wearing a trench coat and he calls this unexpected, and she says that she wanted to tell him how much he inspires her and that she loves the business as she can be aggressive. Vince says that she knew she would be here and will give her a chance to show off tonight as she will team up with Molly Holly against Trish Stratus and Linda Miles, and she says she has no problem with that and she loves competition as she wanted to show why she will win the Divas Undressed competition tomorrow night. She takes off her coat revealing her lingerie as he says she looks stunning and admires until the Undertaker walks in, and Vince asks if he’s upset and Taker says that he nearly lost the title last night as Rock said what needed to be said. He says that it’s a different story when Rock interfered in his match and nearly cost him the match as he goes out every week and defends the title, and he says that he wants Rock tonight and Vince says that Rock’s appearance last week was a one-time thing. He says that while he can’t have Rock, he will have Jeff Hardy tonight and can tear him apart tonight as Taker says he heard Vince say he wants new stars, and he says that he will make Jeff famous the old-fashioned way.

Final Analysis: Overall, this edition of RAW was a fairly standard addition of RAW coming off what was a very average PPV. RAW had some good representation on the PPV last night and had a little bit more than Smackdown since the KOTR final was an all-RAW final, and they did well enough to showcase themselves. We did have a title match here as RVD still rules the midcard while Regal, Nowinski, Eddie, Dreamer, Taker, Stratus, Miles, and the nWo get big wins, and the matches were pretty standard as the main thing from this show was Vince’s ruthless aggression promo at the start. 2002 has been an interesting year to this point as the company was still reeling a bit from Steve Austin’s departure and Vince basically calling for someone to step up, and we will see how things continue to play out over the summer. As for this show, it is a fairly standard show coming off an average PPV. Final Grade: C+
