Edge gets a good pop from the crowd while Christian was pretty hot as a heel. Christian wastes no time and stomps on Edge to start the match as he pounds on him until Edge reverses a whip and hits a backdrop, and Christian tries to climb the cage only for Edge to choke him with his jacket until the ref pulls him off. Christian calls for the door and Edge pulls him back as he holds him down with his foot and continues to choke him with the jacket, and he tosses Christian to the mat by the jacket and stomps on him in the corner as he pounds on him. He whips him hard into the other corner and then he whips him hard back into the other corner as he kicks his leg out from under him, and Christian blocks a ram into the cage and gets a back elbow in as he hits an inverted backbreaker and climbs up the cage. Edge pulls Christian down and hotshots him on the top rope for a two count as Christian reverses a whip and Edge catches him ducking with a kick, but Christian avoids a charge as he sends Edge into the cage for a pair of two counts and he stomps on him. He hits a snapmare and kicks Edge in the back before stomping on him and he chokes him on the mat, and he grinds Edge’s head into the cage and hits a backbreaker for a two count as he climbs up the cage only for Edge to grab at his leg. Christian kicks him down to the mat and rakes his boot across Edge’s face as Edge tries to battle back only for Christian to catch him with a knee to the ribs for a two count, and he looks to go out the door only for Edge to grab at his leg again as Christian pounds on him on the mat and puts him on the top rope. Christian escapes a slam attempt and Edge blocks the inverted DDT with a series of knees to the face as he goes behind Christian, but Christian escapes the Edge-o-Matic and looks for the Unprettier only for Edge to escape with the Edge-o-Matic for a two count. He climbs up the cage and Christian pulls him back down as he pounds on him until Edge counters a whip by sending Christian into the cage, and he rams Christian into the cage twice and climbs up as Christian grabs his leg and climbs up as well. He pounds on Edge and rams him into the cage as Edge gets crotched on the top rope and falls to the mat, and Christian climbs over and down the cage only for Edge to pull Christian’s legs between the bars and he crotches him on the cage. Edge pulls his wrist tape off and uses it to tie Christian’s feet together before ramming his head into the cage twice, and he climbs up and over the cage before dropping to the floor to retain the title. The match itself was good as both men worked hard and put on a good cage match. Both men were starting to hit their groove and still had good chemistry, but it didn’t reach the same level of the ladder match and it was fairly obvious Edge would retain. The crowd was into the match and popped for Edge when he won. Edge retains the title over Christian and both men move on. Grade: 3

He hooks a sleeper of his own on Austin who escapes with a jawbreaker and then he hits a spinebuster on Rock for a two count, and he stomps on Rock and hooks a Boston crab on as Rock reaches for the ropes only for Austin to pull him back to the center of the ring. Rock manages to reach the rope to force a break and Austin stomps on him repeatedly as he stalks the ref in the corner and Rock tries to battle back, and Rock ducks a shot and both men clothesline each other as Rock starts to fire up on Austin who reverses a whip and Rock hits a flying clothesline. He hits a belly-to-belly suplex on Austin for a two count and pounds on him in the corner as he reverses a whip back into the corner with Austin splashing the ref, and Austin avoids a shot as Rock hits a clothesline on the ref by mistake and Austin pounds on Rock. Rock reverses a whip and Austin catches him ducking with a kick as he gets a kick in though Rock blocks the Stunner, and he hits a spinebuster on Austin and hooks the Sharpshooter on as Austin taps out though the ref is still out. Rock breaks the hold to check on the ref only for Austin to trip him up and he hooks a Sharpshooter of his own on, but Rock manages to power out of the hold and hooks the Sharpshooter back on Austin as Kurt Angle runs down to the ring with a chair. He hits Rock in the back with the chair as Chris Jericho runs down to the ring and nails Angle from behind, and he grabs the chair and jabs it into Angle’s ribs before hitting him in the back with it as Angle rolls outside. Rock gets to his feet and sees Jericho with the chair as they argue until Rock pounds on Jericho and clotheslines him over the top to the floor, and he catches a kick attempt and hits the Rock Bottom on Austin as he goes for the pin only for Angle to get back in the ring and stomp on Rock. He pounds on Rock who ducks a shot and he pounds on Angle as he knocks him over the top to the floor, and Austin pounds on Rock who reverses a whip and he hits the spinebuster on Austin as he looks for the People’s Elbow only for Angle to trip him from the floor. He grabs the belt and hits Rock in the face with it as Austin gets a kick in and hits the Stunner which gets the three and he retains the title. The match itself was great as both men worked hard and put on a really fun title match. These two men were hitting their peak by this point and still had great chemistry, but this was more about having Angle and Jericho get involved as Angle helps Austin win. The crowd was into the match and Rock, but are not happy when Austin wins. Austin retains the title over Rock and this issue isn’t over yet. Grade: 4
After the match, Angle and Austin celebrate in the ring and head to the back as we go off the air.
Final Analysis: Overall, this PPV exclusive to the UK was a pretty fun show and was a step up from what Insurrextion was earlier in the year. Even though these UK shows are mainly considered outside of the main canon of the company, they can still put on a solid effort for the fans and they did that with this show. Austin and Jericho are still the top guys while the Dudleyz and Edge retain their titles and Scotty, Show, Regal, Lita, and Wilson get big wins, and in terms of the matches the main event was easily the best while the rest ranged from pretty good to slightly below average. 2001 has been a great year for the WWF as the invasion has been going strong since the summer though we will see how the angle ends when we get to Survivor Series. As for this show, it is a pretty good show for the UK fans and they now wait until next spring for their next show. Final Grade: B-
